En Avril 2007:  Lingua Land attended the cultural event (The Golden Prize of Literature) organized by Comar and Hayett Insurance company.

Le 28/10/2007 : Lingua Land had the honor to be the first one in Comar’s history to participate in the award ceremony by granting considerable prizes to handicapped people, who won in the Marathon organized by Comar Insurance Company. This ceremony was presided by the chairman of Comar and Hayett, Mr. Rachid Ben Jemia and was honored by the presence of some distinguished personalities such as: the United States Ambassador, Mr. Robert F. Godec; the ex-Tunisian Ambassador to the United States of America, Mr. Ismail Khélil, who is now the President of the Council Board of Comar; and the Tunisian World Champion, Mr. Mohamed Gammoudi.

Le 29/11/2007: Doctor Ruth Petzold, the American Diplomat and the Regional English Language Officer for Asia and North Africa, visited Lingua Land to learn more about implementing new technology into teaching English in Tunisia. The interactive approach proved to be the most efficient and successful method of teaching in America and resulted in a great outcome.

The visit of Doctor Ruth Petzold coincided with three workshops on: Business Psychology that was held by the Professor Mrs. Samira Farhat; American Music in the Sixties and its effect on the society which was held by the English teacher, Miss Sirine Mabrouk; and Advanced Speech and Pronunciation held by the English teacher, Miss Kamila Ulejczyk. On the occasion of that cultural event, Lingua Land invited Miss Ellen Bienstock, the Cultural Affairs Officer who is in charge of the American Center, as well as other honorable guests, such as: representatives of universities, journalists, managers, executives, bankers, etc.

This event also attracted Press and Media. The famous journalist, Mr. Walid Tlili, was the honorable guest who participated in welcoming Dr. Ruth Petzold by an expressive opening statement in which he appreciated the existence of Lingua Land and emphasized on the importance of mastering foreign languages, mainly English, in the intercultural exchange between nations and the mutual understanding of the societies.

Another great journalist, Mr. Manoubi Akrout of the Le Quotidien Newspaper, recognized the importance of that event and published two articles giving it considerable prominence. He strongly supported and praised Lingua Land’s effort and commitment to the Tunisian society.

Also, the enthusiastic journalist from Chourouk Newspaper, and the creator of ATFAL TOUNIS, Mr. Ismail Eljerbi, wrote about the same event appreciating the fact that the interactive system of teaching was first explored in Tunisia through Lingua Land.

The success of those workshops, the favorable opinion of Dr. Ruth Petzold, the encouragement of Miss Ellen Bienstock and the support of different capable journalists made public eager to find out more about Lingua Land. For this reason, “Le Quotidien” interviewed Mr. Jelloul Hajlaoui, the Manager of Lingua Land, to highlight his opinion on how to enrich our Tunisian culture by studying foreign languages, mainly English, without demeaning our original identity.
